Glucosamine and Tamoxifen

Hi! First time poster here. I’ve been scouring the forums to find an answer but to no avail, so I’ll just post it here: my oncologist gave me the go ahead to take glucosamine, but I did not realize how many different kinds kinds are available! I am taking 20mg Tamoxifen daily and have been on it since 3/1/21. I feel like I am increasingly becoming stiffer even though I exercise almost daily and maintain a (mostly) healthy diet, so I thought glucosamine might help. Any suggestions on best kind, mgs, etc? Thanks in advance!

Thank you! There are a few different kinds…. Do you know if one is better than the other?

I can't say anything about interactions with Tamoxifen, but I've been taking glucosamine chondroitin for many years. If I don't take it I have severe joint pain. I take glucosamine chondroitin with MSM, it works the best for me. I took Osteo Bi-Flex for years and years, but recently my daughter brought home a generic with the same formula. I've noticed that I need to take the full dose of the generic every day without fail to keep my pain reduced, but with the name brand I could get away with a half dose 3 or 4 days per week.
