Did you have fat transfer with your reconstruction?

I had my textured implants replaced with smooth ones 1.5 years ago after one ruptured. My doc in Toronto did a great job but they are uncomfortably too low. The look great, natural, symmetrical but she isn't prepared to do anything to fix where they are sitting. I saw a different doctor today who agreed they need to be replaced. During our conversation he mentioned he doesn't do fat transfer. My current doctor has always used fat transfer to fill in any divots etc. I didn't think to ask him if he means he doesn't do fat transfer ever because it's not in his skill set, or ??? I'm anxious about having divots that he won't be able to fill if he doesn't do fat transfer. Interested in understanding if others have had fat transfer done and if not, are you happy with how your reconstruction turned out. Trying to decide if I should be looking for a different doctor.

I had fat transfer done during my reconstruction, and I love it. My breasts look natural, feel natural, and I have no regrets. I would definitely ask your doc the reason why he doesn’t perform fat transfer. No divots here, extremely pleased with my results.
