Shower shirt question

I'm recently diagnosed and saw a comment about the shower shirt.

I would like to know if anyone has purchased and used it. It seems like a lot of money $78 but if it would help me wash my hair I would be happy.

I'm not sure what the treatment plan is yet but want to prepare.

I am sorry to hear about your recent dx. I think you will find that there are many different opinions on purchasing specialty care items for post surgical use. My shower head can be removed from it’s mounting and be hand held so that made it easy to wash most of my body and hair while keeping other body parts dry. For me, the post op period was easy to adjust to with just a few minor modifications and very little spending on items I would only use for a short time. However, some folks really find the specialty items helpful and there are certainly many products out there if you wish to purchase them. Take care.

I was able to take a full shower 48 hours after a double masectomy without reconstruction. I would talk to your surgeon to see what you really need. I just used lanyards to hold my drains.

No problem! My last dog passed two years ago but that’s what I primarily used the sprayer for 😊.

I bought one and it is cumbersome and lets in a lot of water. I do not recommend. I think a trash bag and/or press & seal would do a better job especially with a shower handle. Or hang your head under the sink faucet.
