Anyone took Fenugreek for pumping milk for baby for 2 years?

I think i got breast cancer from taking Fenugreek for 2 years to pump milk for my daughter.

Anyone did take Fenugreek please share the experience and side effects

I am sorry you find yourself here. As for fenugreek, the information I found seems to indicate that fenugreek may actually be protective against cancer. None of the research I found was very recent and, of course, it was all laboratory based. It is very tempting to blame breast cancer on something we did or didn’t do but the truth is that the vast majority of us will never know why we developed bc. Take care

As a lactation counsellor I have know of many women who used fenugreek to increase/stimulate a milk supply. I have not seen any credible research regarding carcinogenity of that herb. Of course how it's grown, any contaminants etc could possibly affect things.

Lactation itself is protective against breast cancer.

Much of breast cancer is just sheer bad luck. I suspect it's just a gene and an environmental trigger meeting up randomly, wrong place, wrong time.

Poor thing! You did the right thing for your baby! Breastfeeding is protective! The prolactin you make to produce milk helps suppress estrogen and/or ovulation. I breastfed for 3 1/2 years total, but it wasn’t a guarantee against BC for me, either.

Don’t you regret all that nourishment and snuggling with your babes! Hugs to you momma!!!
