Expander side pain

I had my final fill last week. I have had muscle pain on the outside side of my right one since a few days before. My plastic surgeon says it's just the expander pushing and causing irritation but the pain is still there. He suggested massage and ibuprofen. Has anyone else had this pain? How long did it take to go away? It's a sharp stabby pain when I use that arm. I am also taking muscle relaxers some nights. My exchange surgery isn't until the end of September due to the surgeon's schedule.

My exchange surgery is also the end of September. My last fill was the end of June and I still have occasional pain from the expanders. Sometimes it is a dull pain and other times I feel like one of them is digging into my ribs. The expanders have been in since November and they just need to go.
