Does anyone have bone pain, especially in legs, from letrozole? It started about a month ago and I’ve been taking it for almost 3-1/2 years. Any suggestions on how to manage it or should I be freaking out that it spread to my bones

I think any sudden onset pain should be checked out by a dr, esp if it lasts >2 weeks.

All these meds can cause lots of different symptoms but you always need a proper diagnosis first.

Bone pain is on the list of letrozole side effects. Also, I have read where many say they get new side effects down the road and they don't always stay the same.

I just wanted to add that as a general rule, when I experience something symmetrical, e.g. in both limbs at the same time, I tend to think it is more likely the drug than spread. I'm sure there are exceptions out there, but it's my first go to assumption with something like you have described. Also it can be difficult sometimes to tell muscle from bone pain. I've had both thighs ache from time to time and have realized that it's when my hips are sore, so don't really know if my thigh muscles ache or if it's reflective pain from my aching hip bones. It's all from letrozole

I do have bone pain from letrozole. Lately, is changing to feet numbness. I am told if you have bone pain of the legs that are from the knee down, or hands from elbow to fingers most likely is not recurrence but SE of the medication. Also, as a reminder, letrozole is a toxic medication and that is why it is prescribed for few years only and we get tested to check how our liver and kidneys are handling it. Toxicity builds up and that is why is not recommended to be used forever. (I read the last statement)
