It's on the small side. Once it is removed they will get the actual size and stage it:

    Adding another layer of granularity:

    • T1mi is a tumor that is 1 mm or smaller.
    • T1a is a tumor that is larger than 1 mm but 5 mm or smaller.
    • T1b is a tumor that is larger than 5 mm but 10 mm or smaller.
    • T1c is a tumor that is larger than 10 mm but 20 mm or smaller.

That would be under 2cm and considered small if that turns out to be the final size.

What results do you mean? The definitive size is determined by the surgical pathology after removal. Anything based on imaging is an estimate that could turn out to be wrong.

Size is just part of the story, and it's possible to have a large size and a very low oncotype that would be considered stage 1.

It really is a mental exercise waiting for all the information to emerge
