Waiting results, linear + cluster calcifications biopsy

Hello! I was here a couple of years ago worrying about a lump in r breast that turned out being benign(fibroadenoma). During the process, however, I was told I had several calcifications in my L breast. At the time no one was worried, they were diffuse/scattered. Fast forward a couple years, and my latest mammo now showed cluster/grouping. I had my stereo biopsy yesterday(that was a process oh my-ouch). During the biopsy, I learned the grouping was clearly linear, and they also found another small cluster next to the linear cluster. They got good samples of both. I didn't obsess over all this like last time, learning lessons of over worrying from my b9 lump, but seeing how linear they were and that other clusterclose by has me worried now. What are my odds here? How likely are these findings benign? Any advice? Thanks!

    Welcome Mama! I hope it is benign for you! I've had 3 stereotactics so know what you mean about what a process.... Glad I won't have anymore of those - was worse on my ribs and neck.... really uncomfortable! Again hope it's benign tho if not the linear may "only" be something like DCIS... I had some linear and clustering to my calcs.... Before you get too worried about that keep in mind DCIS is precancerous/preinvasive.... cells can't live outside the milk ducts which is why it often expands linearly in the ducts.... Hopefully you hear soon on results and get good news. If not good news hopefully nothing invasive! Please let us know once you find out. Hopefully others will chime in....

    thank you livinlife! I do try to remind myself that dcis has such a good prognosis compared to other things. Will def update! I hope I get a good definitive answer soon.

    benign! It was stromal fibrosis. I was really worried with that linear pattern, so truly happily surprised with this! :)

    wow you got your results back soo quick ,I'm still waiting on mine ,I had mine done on Tuesday .I'm super anxious about it
