worried out of my mind
Hi new here , I just had a biopsy done on my left breast yesterday a lump that I had for maybe five years now. I've had the lump looked at two times before ,and was supposed to get it checked one more time but I couldn't afford it at the time. So I was able to now and it was recommended that I have a biopsy or wait 6 months , so anyway that's were im at now . So now I have pain in my left breast of course from the biopsy but pain on my rib area ...which I'm not sure if that's normal or not .so I'm anxious about that and the results , not sure how I'm going to make it till next week honestly .

Hi Justanxious22, and welcome to our Breastcancer.org Community.
We're so sorry for the worries that bring you here, but we're really glad you've found us. You're sure to find our amazing Community an incredible source of advice, information, encouragement, and support -- if it turns out you need it!
We know it's tough to stay positive and calm while you wait for your results -- the waiting is the absolute worse, and many others here will tell you the same! Try to keep your mind busy -- dive into work, read a book, binge some TV, meet a friend for coffee, or get out for a long walk or hike to clear your head. It will help!
Please keep us posted with what you find out and in the meantime, we'll be sending good vibes your way!

I want to welcome you Justanxious! Glad you got the biopsy over with at this point. Really stinks waiting on all those call backs/6 month waits and then still being at the biopsy point.... good you had it done tho! The Mods are absolutely correct about how difficult the waiting is, as you're aware of at this point. They gave great suggestions on getting through the time too.... Please let us know when you hear about results....
