What a Difference a Decade Makes
Long story short as I can make it:
When diagnosed with metastatic cancer ten years ago, I assumed I was a goner.
I've never been so happy to be wrong!

so happy to hear 10 years and counting. I have not been officially diagnosed but they found a mass 1 to 2 cm in lumbar 1 spine.
Starting Monday, I get all the test c scan pet scan. I can hardly walk extreme pain in my right leg.
I donโt know what to do first and just feel broken down and out

Simone, did you not need radiation for bone

Positive2Strong,
Sorry to hear you may be joining us. Let's hope it's something other than cancer. No I did not need rads as my mets were small and I didn't have any pain from them. Ibrance\letrozole quickly resolved them.
It's really tough at first but you'll get a treatment plan in place and once you start you'll feel better. Did you join the bone mets thread?

Yippee! So glad youโre still here. I want to follow in your footsteps.

what a feat !
I hope to make the same announcement in 7 years ๐๐
You and others like you, remind us that not all hope is lost ๐
