it has been 5 years and now I am waiting on a biopsy of a mass they found on spine MRI

    no I have stage 4 multiple Mets

    oh no! I’m truly so sad I’m so sorry. I hope you didn’t mind me replying I just saw that there wasn’t a reply yet and I wanted you to know others out here care.
    I was diagnosed December 2016 so five years coming up. Lots of emotions and feelings that were tucked away are resurfacing thus my need to check in to the place that saved me 5 years ago. clear mammograms but understand things change on a dime.

    My sister is a nurse in UCLA I love California!!!

    If you don’t get a scan get one

    My leg starting hurting in Jan, I never thought of cancer thought it was sciatica

    Positive2strong, Similar story here. I thought mine was sciatica too with 10 pain in right leg which turned out to be a mass on my spine. I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in Dec. 2020. Long road so far but I am doing better. I am working at accepting this and living my life as well as long as I can. My thoughts are with you.

    Sorella,

    What is your treatment plan. I pick up Ibrance today. I missed my first appt today for the injection because my husband fell this AM

    I really don’t feel great not sure just am not eating right. Take out isn’t appealing and I don’t have much energy to cook.

    Last night I did fry a small steak and reheated a meatball sandwich fir my husband.

    The mass that is worrisome is on my upper thigh

    They want me to have surgery to put a pin in it.

    Are you able to walk now

    Can yo do much.

    Positive2strong,

    I am in my 7th round of fulvestrant injections and ibrance 125 mg. My oncologist says they are working for now and I feel so much better than I did a few months ago and hope that will be the outcome for you. I will tell you more tomorrow but wanted to respond right away.
