Non healing wounds after radiation

I completed radiation a few weeks ago but now have some non-healing, open wounds - 1 along my mastectomy scar and 1 right below it. They appeared to be peeling skin at first but then opened and have stayed that way now. I still have skin expanders in. My plastic surgeon doesn’t seem concerned about infection but have me antibiotic as precaution. He says he is concerned that the wounds won’t heal due to rads. Anyone experience something similar? What did you do? And did it impact reconstruction decisions

I had very raw sore, skin... and I found hyperbaric oxygen helped me heal rapidly. You might ask about it. It is great for wound healing.
