Hair Loss or Hair Thinning while on Anastrozole

Does anyone in this group use Nutrafol for hair loss or hair thinning and experienced good results. Has anyone in this group who is ER Positive and HRE2 Negative and on Anastrozole been advised against using Nutrafol? Thanks.

Sorry you didn't get any real answer yet. Sometimes it is slow during the weekend... Until you get replies to this topic, there are a few threads here on the boards where other members have been talking about Nutrafol. If you go to the Search function in the blue menu and type in "nutrafol" (without the quotes) as your search term, you'll see every time the word is mentioned in a post, and can then check out the thread and even contact the member who posted it through a private message. arogers9 I do not know information specifically about nutrafol, but I run any supplement I want to take past my MO. She evaluates it to make sure it doesn't interfere with my Tamoxifen processing or that any herbal components are phyotoestrogens. What I have found helps me for now is daily biotin (5mcg), daily collagen powder mixed into my coffee, and laser therapy. I invested in a Theradome (which is pretty pricey) but I feel has helped me quite a bit. I started the collagen about three months ago and noticed a whole lot less shedding.

I cannot speak directly to the impact of the AI, but it should be in the range of the impact of Tamoxifen.

I don't know anything about nutrafol, but used a shampoo & conditioner called Nioxin with very good results during & after chemo until my hair came back to normal (I was on Arimidex for 5 years. Maybe because I had gotten my follicles in good shape with the Nioxin, I didn't have any problems with my hair during that time.)
