Can you get a blood clot in a finger from tamoxifen?

I've been taking tamoxifen for about 6 months now. I know blood clots can be a side effect of the medicine. Can you get a blood clot in your finger, or is it just associated with the legs?

Suppose it’s possible. Can get clots in your lungs. If you think so, go to a walk in clinic.

Did you injure your finger? Is it more of a hematoma? Do you have swelling, changes in the color, and pain? Spookiesmom is right go get it checked out. My MO was more concerned with a deep vein thrombosis that could break off and travel to the lungs. I don't have any history of blood clots and I take fish oil daily.

There is possibilities, but not happen very often, could be reflected in symptoms like leg swelling, or Pulmonary Embolism. You should already track your symptoms. I use a symptom checker app called Liyfe, it can help you do a severity assessment. Hope it helps
