    I had my drains in for 5 1/2 weeks and then had two aspirations due to the fluid build-up. They are now talking about putting another drain in because my body continues to produce the fluid. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how long did the new drain stay in? The surgeon would only say when questioned, "weeks" and couldn't tell me more.

    I would appreciate some information if you have walked this road of fluid build-up.
