Step 1 completed

I had my lumpectomy on Monday and am waiting to get all the results in, I did get one report in and it showed lymph nodes are negative but there seems to be something going on with the margins? So the good news is negative lymph nodes..... and I do not want to assume anything else since reading pathology reports is like speaking a foreign language to me! I just hope I'm not in the percentile that will to have to endure a re-excision... I do feel better just knowing the tumor/crap is out of me.

I had a re-excision due to iffy margins. It was absolutely not a big deal, even faster than the lumpectomy and they just used the quickie anesthesia-lite, so I wasn't even groggy. At most, it's a minor annoyance.
