Hi,

I had fat grafting done twice after reconstruction 5 years ago. I’m okay with how they look, except the cleavage area looks kind of hard and slightly ripply. Do you think insurance would cover another round of fat grafting to soften the cleavage area? Would they allow fat grafting for the non surgery side of my cleavage so that it would look even and symmetrical?

I feel a little embarrassed to ask my doctor for another fat grafting, as it seems purely cosmetic...what are your thoughts? Have any of you done additional fat grafting years later? Is this common? Do the doctors understand or do they dismiss this as unnecessary?

Please share your experiences...thank you so much!

As far as I know, there is no time limit on when you can get revisions if something doesn't look right. It can't hurt to talk to your plastic surgeon- their job is to make your body parts look correct.
