Pain few months back and now ALH/Radial Scar

After reading infinite posts on this site, I remembered that a few months back, when my perimenopausal symptoms became more intense (hot flashes, swollen breasts, missing periods), I also experienced briefly intermittent, sharp pain around the nipple. Now I wonder, after being initially diagnosed with ALH and radial scar (awaiting excision and additional biopsy), is that kind of pain a sign of breast cancer?? I am seeing the surgeon on April 15 and cannot stop worrying, my life is at a standstill, just waiting for more results.

Not likely. It's more likely to be caused by hormonal changes, and you have certainly been experiencing those.
