Had core biopsy - blood from one duct

Hello,

I don't really know what category to put this under, but here is my question. I had a core needle biopsy in early February and all results were normal with this result:

Fibroadipose breast tissue showing fibrocystic changes including stromal fibrosis, columnar cell change, and portions
of cyst wall.

My concern is that since the day after the biopsy I have had non spontaneous bloody discharge, it is obviously blood (red to brown). I asked my surgeon and she said this can last 2-3 months after biopsy. It's been nearly two months now and it's still here. I went 4 weeks without checking, but did check tonight. I will keep my hands off, but it makes me nervous that it is still present.

Does anyone have experience with this and how long did it last. When would I should be concerned?

Thank so much.

Jen

I don't have experience with that. I would be concerned too though think it's important to wait the months the surgeon mentioned. If it's still present then consider being more assertive about what in the world is going on.... It will be important to keep hands off during the waiting or how do you know what you are triggering vs. there is some other actual issue....?
