Does any one have been vaccinated during Ribociclib and Fulvestrant treatment. Are there any contraindications or is it dangerous ? Immune compromised system is one of the major effects of the medication. Can anyone share thoughts or experiences ? Thanks

    Eulalia,

Those who are immune compromised are being urged to get the vaccine! In many counties the immune compromised are given priority. Most importantly, have you asked your oncologist? She/he would be the best source of info about your particular situation. Take care

Thanks for the reply. In my case I was covid positive in July 2020 just after chemo. Fortunately everything turned out perfectly fine. A miracle ! Now I still have antibodies. The vaccine is still not easily available in my country. I am a little bit afraid about the vaccine , but it is good to hear that immune compromised patients have positive experiences with the vaccine. My oncologist is recommending to wait a little due to the antibodies. Have you get the vaccine ? Thanks

Yes! I just had my second Pfizer vaccine this past Wednesday. I had bad chills and fatigue about 24 hours afterwards. I had to miss my granddaughters birthday dinner😔. I went to bed quite early and woke up feeling fine. I was eligible for the vaccine not because I have stage IV bc but because I’m a teacher. My 31 year old dd was vaccinated early on as she works in a medical facility. Take care
