Muscle and joint pain from radiation?

I am halfway through my 20 treatments of external beam. From the start, I have had severe fatigue and increasing muscle and joint pain.

DCIS, grade 2. Lumpectomy with clear margins. Age 59.

Can anyone shed light on why the pain? I cannot find mention of it in reputable forums. TIA.

    Hi QuiltyGurl, I had fatigue that would come on suddenly about half way through radiation. Have you started tamoxifen or an AL? Could positioning on the table be causing some discomfort?
