Biopsy on Vertebra— How much time away from work?

I will be having a biopsy on My L1 in about two weeks. I am wondering if it is a quick appointment and right back to work, or do I need to schedule some time off? And do you remember how long it took to get your results back?

I had a bone biopsy, also to L1. Same day procedure I was home by late afternoon. Not much pain or other problems. Was advised to take Tylenol, took it the first day only as I remember.

I think maybe I was slightly sore but that’s about it. My results were given to my MO next day - they are all in the same hospital

Thank you, Olma. I will go to a hospital for the biopsy, and the results will be sent to my MO at a different facility
