Nonspecific symptoms leading to diagnosis ?

Cross posting here from the "concerned" thread

Has anyone been dx with stage 4 following up on very nonspecific sx like fatigue? I finished iron infusions for anemia (had bariatric surgery 2 years ago). Blood counts and iron are back to normal. Just trying to consider all potential issues. COVID vaccine did not help the situation

PatRN10, I'm not stage IV, but most of us on this site have some sort of fatigue. You might still be deconditioned from your recent surgery. Being anemic probably slowed down your healing. Congrats on getting the Covid vaccine!! Give yourself some time.

I had fatigue and some gradual, unexpected weight loss but my primary symptom was a lingering cough.

Do you have anything else? Night sweats? Liver pain? Other pain?

    Thanks All,

I am 2 1/2 years out from my bariatric surgery and have been exercising faithfully so my physical condition is the best it has ever been. I have been reading about long-term fatigue even years down the road from BC treatment so most likely it could be that. I have an appt. with my PCP to discuss further.
