Ki-67 question

Hello everyone!

I am curious about ki-67 proliferation index.

My mom who was diagnosed last year with TNBC and on her pathology report there was an indication of ki-67 UP to 70%.

We are trying to figure out what the means? Does it mean it’s 70% or does it mean less than 70%?

Or maybe there is some sort of cutoff for TNBC ki-67?

Wondering how your pathology reports looked like.

thank you!

Kate

Mine was 60- anything above 20 Is high and considered aggressive - but TN is considered aggressive in general so I wouldn’t get too bogged down.

    Hi, 2019whatayear!

I am wondering how did it look on you pathology report? Did it just say 60% or did it say up to 60%?

    Thank you

I agree with 2019whatayear. My KI67 was very high, like 93, because of the triple negative cancer. Didn't change my treatment one bit, but according to my oncologist but made it more likely that the chemo would be effective.

I'll hit four years since surgery on April 4th. That's the date I started my countdown to five years disease free.

Hope everything goes well for your Mom.

    Trish
