Irritation on breast?

Hi all,

I was getting dressed this morning, and I noticed some irritation on my breast (I tried attaching a photo, but I can’t. They’re little red dots and I have 2 tiny scabs). It was a bit itchy the other day, but usually when I scratch it doesn't leave a mark like that.

Does anybody else get the same thing? I don't think it looks like a breast cancer rash but I'll bring it up with my doctor the next time I see her

I’d try some cortisone cream. Little red dots with two tiny scabs just sounds like a skin irritation to me.

You are not allowed to post breast pictures. See above “Note: Please do not post pictures of your symptoms. It's important to have anything unusual checked by your doctor.”

I agree with MelissaDallas. Breasts are covered by a lot off skin, and skin is prone to rashes and irritation. And bites. The two scabs make me wonder if you were bitten by something, maybe in your sleep.

If this rash showed up on your arm or your tummy, what you would do? Personally I keep a stash of antibiotic and rash creams, and any time a rash shows up (and some times they are on my breast skin), I try one cream and if it doesn't work, I try another. I pretty much always find something within my stash that gets rid of it within a few days or maybe as long as a few weeks - some rashes are stubborn. And if nothing works, it's off to my PCP or dermatologist.

Try some rash creams and see how it goes. Good luck!

Yep, cortisone and anti-fungal creams always live in my medicine cabinet. One or the other has always worked for any rash I get.

I frequently have patches of rashes on my chest and abdomen area, esp. after getting out of the shower... eczema in my case!
