I had surgery on Febuary 09 2021,and i had note from my doctor that i have to leave from work within two months.

so i know within two months staying home and not going to work i will need some help paying my rent for the month of Feb and and march.

also i will need help with my electric bill and water bill wifi bill and etc,i will look forward to see if someone can help me whilel im leave without pay.

Where do you live? Can you apply for unemployment or disability? Have you contacted a social worker or someone at your medical facility who helps patients with such issues? That might be a good start. Best of luck to you.

my social worker send me some application to filled out but no response yet.i already apply for unemployment no response yet.

im in springdale arkansas.

Hello,

I'm not clear about Arkansas medical disability & family medical leave but those are normally federal programs each individual state administers. Do you receive benefits through your employment? In California, we must use our sick time first then when that runs out, our state disability starts to make up our income up to a certain monthly maximum. Our short term state disability is for 12 weeks before next steps need to be taken.

If you do receive benefits, I would recommend you send a copy of your Dr's note to your Human Resources department so you can begin your sick leave.
