Can IBC-TN move to and infect other breast

I have IBC-TN in right breast —I went 4 rounds AC + 4 T. Tumors did not respond will MRI shows a slight attachment to chest wall. They started me on wily cisplatin + M-F radiation 33 treatments prior to surgery.

Right now constipated pellets, started miralax - prior colace - left breast swollen - tummy no waistline. Hopping for relief.

Noticed slight maybe start of dimpling in the center connection between the two breast’s, might be because I’m constipated so therefore larger, waiting for miralax to work to confirm for sure.

Curious, I know IBC is the skin so it is possible to travel to other breast?

Hello EBBA, IBC presents with symptoms in the skin but it can spread like all other breast cancers, through lymph and blood. IBC also appears to sometimes spread through skin lymphatic (sometimes listed in research papers as DL Dermal Lymphatics).

Hopefully it's nothing since you're in treatment right now. Do show your doctor, of course!

You must be very tired at this point with so much going on & heavy duty treatment. I hope your team can help you manage the side effects quickly!

The radiologist who used to post here said there were only one or two cases of bilateral inflammatory breast cancer recorded. In other words, pretty much unheard of. Are you talking IBC-invasive breast cancer, or IBC, INFLAMMATORY breast cancer?.

sorry inflammatory breast cancer, not sure if it is getting a bit pink, could be from inflamed stretch marks or being blotted from not making a #2 so besides breast getting a bit heavy I have an increased stomach becsuse I am backed up.RO is watching it. EBBA1
