Recently diagnosed Mets - HER2+

Hi all! Four years ago, when I was diagnosed with IDC, stage 3, HR/PR-, Her2+, I found a wonderful group of ladies on this forum and we went through chemo and treatments together and have stayed in touch! Unfortunately I find myself here again because I was diagnosed with Mets in December. Fortunately, I think we found it early as it's only showing up in some lymph nodes in my chest. On Jan 5 I started 12 weekly treatments of taxol with herceptin and perjeta every 3 weeks. I'm trying to find other ladies with the same diagnosis or HER2+ mets to chat with as we are all on this journey together. I've had some rough days dealing with the potential mortality of the diagnosis but feel I'm moving past some of that and I'm ready to tackle this monster once again! I've been researching as much as I can which in some cases, is not the best choice!

Let me know if you're in my same boat and would like to chat as we go thorugh treatments and after! Looking forward to meeting you! Also, if there is another thread that would be applicable, please let me know and I'll jump in!

Hi Alffee, sorry you find yourself back here again but welcome.

Most of the activity on the stage 4 forum is around either treatment, or location of mets.

We don't really have an active lymph node only mets thread afaik.

I’m not exactly in the same boat, as I’m ER and HER2+ and was diagnosed stage IV from the get go but I have been on H&P for 4 years and happy to answer and questions.
