I don't know if this is allowed or not but I'm wondering if anyone has Ibrance 100 mg that was discontinued. I have a whole box of 125mg, never opened, just found out since going on Medicare Advantage that it's going to cost $14,000/year. We make too much to qualify for assistance, I'll quit taking it before I'll pay that, IV Chemo is covered. I've been trying to figure out if I should go on Medicare or just pay my private insurance, which has an $8500 deductible but then I get 100% coverage. I'm supposed to start Medicare on Feb 1 so much cheaper but not if I have to pay for Ibrance. I don't know what to do.

Hi Maryand,

I am on Ibrance but I don't have any 100mg leftover (My onc switched me to 75 mg but we ordered it in advance). Try posting on the Ibrance thread? Some women on there were also discussing Meidcare and the costs at the end of last year. The Ibrance thread is in this Stage IV only forum and called Ibrance, here's a link if that helps!

It is so frustrating that Medicare won't cover it!
