His research is looking at the links between metabolic health and cancer, specifically looking at how diet, exercise, and medicines can prevent cancers tied to obesity, such as breast cancer, and improve outcomes for people with inflammation in fatty tissues.

    This was re-affirming to listen to. I began intermittent fasting two months ago. Started at 16/8 now doing 18/6. Losing weight has always been part of my cancer treatment prescription and it's been difficult. The scale hasn't moved dramatically since on IF. However, my clothes are much looser and I feel as though I'm on the right track. Thank you for the interview with Dr. Iyengar.

    FYI: Am working with my doctor (PCP) who knows a lot about IF, so not going it alone.
