Breast Cancer Index Test

Hello! I am approaching 5 years of ovarian suppression + AI. At my request, my oncologist ordered the Breast Cancer Index test. It showed a 1.9% risk of late recurrence and no benefit to continued use of AI. My question is this: should I trust the test? I am eager to stop the Lupron/Arimidex, but also terrified. How have others’ doctors viewed the test?

kessa - my MO also recommended the BCI test at the 5 year point. Unfortunately I fell into the high risk for recurrence, low benefit from continuing on anti-hormonals, which only one in ten who test do. My MO asked me to remain on Letrozole if I could deal with side effects, which I did for another two and a half years. At that point I needed some jaw/tooth surgery and my maxillofacial surgeon wanted me off any meds that could affect bone so I stopped at that point with the blessing of my MO. He is a believer in the test, and does use it.
