Remembering Those Gone in 2020
From time to time, I find myself reflecting on the different women I've gotten to know here over the years whose lives were lost to mbc. On this last day of the year, I wanted to remember the BCO forum members from the threads who passed away in 2020. It's hard to say goodbye.

Divine, Thank you for your post. I have also been thinking of those we have lost. So many of the friends I have made during the past 5 1/2 years are gone. Some have simply stopped contributing to the threads, and I hope they are out their living their lives.
Those who have passed away are missed. Each contributed her own piece of beauty to the world. You are so right. It is hard to say goodbye.
Hugs and prayers from, Lynne

Divine-- Thank you for doing this. We cannot forget their lives. I too have thought of the ones we have lost. How about Muddling Through and Jaylea? Were those lost in 2019 or 2020?
-
Candy, since I retrieved the names of those who passed in 2020 from the memorial thread, I went back to review them. Muddling Through passed in November of 2019. There was no record in that thread of Jaylea, so I looked her upon the forum. The last post in her name was Jul 4, 2020; someone named Cormac who called Jaylea their one and only love wrote to say Jaylea was in hospice. After that, there isn't any confirmation of her passing. I will go back to my original post here and add her name. Thanks for making sure she is included.

Don't forget Chrissieb.
Still no answers about ldesim sudden death. It was during the height of Covid in the east.
-
Zills, thanks for mentioning ChrissyB, I will add her to my original post.
-
Divine,
Please add Susan_2143 and sueopp to your list. We met on this forum and grew to be friends through correspondence and visits.
I miss them.
Tina
P.S. I now see that Susan is on your list.

Tina, I saw where lulubee had mentioned Chrissyb on the In memoriam page, so I added her above. Thank you for letting me know to add sueopp; I’ll do that now.
Remembering all these fine ladies who added so much to our conversations here on the forums.

Divine, it was actually Susan that I mentioned on the memorial thread. I only just now learned about Chrissyb and I am so sad. She was a sweetheart and so generous with her encouragements, especially to new people. I remember years ago when she travelled across the world to meet women on these boards and posted pics of her meetups. She was a joy.
Susan was a special friend to me and her loss hurts deeply. We had a long correspondence via private messages that went back many years. She was about the last woman who remembered with me so many great women from these boards over 13 years. I went back through all our PMs last week as a sort of personal memorial service for her. It was uncanny how we always tracked together with treatment changes over the years. When I hadn't heard from her in several months, I did that awful thing we have to do sometimes-- did a search for her obituary. She was so smart and funny. I miss her.

Lulubee, oh, now I see it was Zillsnot4me who reminded us of Chrissyb’s passing.
I’m touched by the relationship you shared with Susan, and I’m sorry for your loss of a forum member who became a more personal friend to you. Re-reading the pm’s the two of you shared was such a caring way for you to pay your respects to her, so to speak. Hugs for you.
