Fat grafting

I had a bilateral mastectomy on 11/19. I was supposed to have immediate DIEP flap reconstruction but ended up with expanders being placed instead. My skin is too thin on one side and the plastic surgeon wants me to heal for awhile and then do a round of fat grafting before he starts to fill the expanders. Has anyone else had this happen

Janet - sorry not to me,but if you search "DIEP" &/or reconstruction - there are lots of threads here.
Oops sorry - and I've read numerous posts about fat grafting.
