TCHP treatment

Hello everyone,

I was just curious for anyone on the TCHP treatment if side effects from each chemo treatment stay about the same as the first or if they seem to get better or worse with each round?

smw - in my experience, the best way to go through chemo is with a group in the same place. Below is the November thread. I also read the thread from the month before I started. That said - everyone is different. Some have very few side effects but there's no way to tell. I lost 60 lbs with the "big D", but I never had any nausea and I drove myself to every 8 hour chemo session. Other than continuing dehydration, the sessions didn't get any better or worse.

Interesting - I just looked back and saw you already have TCHP thread going. Usually it's best to stick with one thread so that those answering can follow the history.

My side effects were the same but the severity changed from infusion to infusion.

I’m curious about this too. I started TCHP last On Jan 25, 2021. I haven’t had any major side effects. My stomach feels a little off at times but nothing I need to take medicine for. Other than that my only issues are taste buds & fatigue. Praying it doesn’t get worse

I just had my 4th round yesterday. My 1st round was the hardest for me with side effects. The rough days for me seem to be 4-10 but just experience stomach issues, throat tenderness, and loss of taste buds. It could be wors I’m sure. It seems to be getting a little better with each round. Wishing you the best!
