DIEP failure

Hi, to make a long story short, I had a BMX with DIEP recon in January. The left breast looks great, the right one (breast that had cancer) has been problematic from the beginning and is pretty rock solid now. I saw my breast surgeon yesterday and is making the recommendation that I get it removed/ fixed and I kind of agree.

I’m trying to decide whether to go flat on that side or get an implant. My question is, has anyone here ever have a mixed recon with a diep? And if so, how was the overall outcome/ look?
