Since I started chemo (AC), I have been coughing non stop. I told my nurse and she said it’s not a side effect of chemo. It’s now been a month of coughing. Anyone else cough during chemo? I’m starting to get a little nervous. Will talk to doctor on Tuesday.

Aside from anything cancer related, late September and October are prime allergy season where I live in North Texas. After years of no problems I have been miserable this year with coughing, sneezing and being stopped up. Ragweed and Mountain Cedar are both horrible for me and usually they don’t overlap, but this year they did. Could have nothing to do with yourtreatment. Hope it doesn’t!

I started AC treatments in August, am now almost done with Taxol and I have been having to clear my throat/slight cough the entire time. My doctor and infusion nurses both said that post nasal drip is a fairly common side effect. I would agree to talk to your doctor, who will probably have great ideas of how to deal with it.
