Lots of people don't get any of these scans when first diagnosed and many of us never get these scans at all. So I'd say, No, you shouldn't be worried.

Were you diagnosed through a needle biopsy? What is known about the diagnosis so far? I'm guessing since you posted in the Triple Negative Forum that your diagnosis is TN, but what else do you know? Estimated size? Grade? How do the lymph nodes look on imaging and were any lymph nodes biopsied?

gerri, I was diagnosed with triple negative in early 2019. I have not had any body or brain scans related to my cancer, aside from a thoracic CT prior to radiation treatment. At my treatment center (a NCI designated comprehensive cancer center) they don't do MRI on most patients.

It is most likely the scans you do have won't change your treatment plan, so no, the timing is no reason to be worried.
