Letrazole and High Blood Pressure as a SE

I started taking Letrazole in March. I’ve always had slightly low blood pressure, but for the last 4 months my blood pressure has been steadily creeping up. It was 159/100 when I went to my PCP last week to get treated. I’m now on blood pressure medicine. Anyone else have high blood pressure as a side effect from Letrazole

    Yes, my blood pressure increased a lot when I took Letrozole. It wasn't immediate though, happened after I had been on it for five months. My oncologist tried Arimidex next but I had the same SE. So finally he just took me off any medication. Luckily, that was an option for me.

    I have high blood pressure that I believe was exacerbated by Anastrozole. I now have micro vascular heart disease but this may have been partly brought on by my oopherectomy. I am now on letrozole as I was having shortness of breath with the Anastrozole.
