Waiting for a surgery date

After my yearly screening mammogram, I was called back for a diagnostic mammogram on the left side where I previously had a lumpectomy for LCIs, ALH and ADH and a sonogram on the right. Following that I had a stereotactic biopsy on the left which confirmed DCIS. Surgeon had me go for a bilateral MRI which shows other suspicious areas on the left and at least one suspicious area on the right. Since we already know that there is at least DCIS on the left I chose not to have 2 more biopsies on that side and I agreed to have an MRI biopsy on the right side to determine whether or not she needs to do a sentinel node biopsy on the right side when she does the bilateral mastectomy. I need to meet with the plastic surgeon to determine if I am a candidate for DIEP reconstruction. I just want to get it scheduled so that I can get myself ready.
