Adenomyosis and Tamoxifen

Hi ladies,

I just found out I have adenomyosis, likely caused by tamoxifen. It is in early stages and does not appear malignant. I am pre-menepausel. The only abnormality I am experiencing right now is pain and soreness in the pelvic area during ovulation. Last much is was pretty painful, obstructing my bowels and leaving me motionless in the couch for three days. Apparently that’s when the uterine lining starts to thicken. After ovulation it felt normal again I will find out more next week when I see a specialist. Does anyone else have this?

    Hi Dovely,

While you may get some answers here from others who have experienced this, you may also want to use the Search function (in the left navigation bar) to see if anyone else has posted about this. Type in adenomyosis in the search bar and then hit search, then you can click through posts or directly message members who may have a this diagnosis.

    We hope this helps!
