Freaking out a bit
I was diagnosed with Grade 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in My left breast yesterday. It is approx 1.2 x 1.3 x .08 cm . Very small from my understanding. They also ultrasound my lumphnodes and all looked well I have been having rib pain for about 1 month. I went to the chiropractic he said I have a rib out near my breast. Even though the rib pain isn't constant and it is on the side my husband holds me on at night I am freaked out it has spread. In most of my reading it did say I would have swollen lymph nodes if it speas outside the breast. I just am having a long week and trying to not borrow trouble. The radiologist who did my scan didn't seem concerned but I do. Too much stress.
Thanks for listening.

Welcome Hrv17 though sorry you need to be here. The radiologist maybe didn't want to panic you? I can sense the invalidation of your feelings this led to... and of course you are worried! Others who are more knowledgeable in the medical aspects of all of this will chime in.... I'm assuming you've had a biopsy since you know Grade 2 and IDC... Do you know if you are ER+, PR + or HER2+? If you can go into your settings and make this kind of information public it will show at the bottom of each post. It will help others address your situation more specifically.
Are you getting scheduled with a surgeon? This site is wonderful for information regarding cancer types, treatment options others have considered and undergone, support, etc. Ultimately surgery type is yours to make. It's important you are comfortable with your decisions and the docs you are working with respect this. It makes sense you would discuss options, etc. with your docs of course though it is really important you are comfortable with how you are proceeding.
You will get through this! You are at the hardest part right now.... once you gather more information and make decisions in conjunction with medical providers you will be working with you will follow that path and feel much better than you do right now.
