Hi all,

I had my masectomy in November last year and finished radiation in February. I am still on herceptin/perjeta that will be done in January. I am on exemestane and zoladex as well. I have been experiencing pain in in non cancer breast since April. I had a mammogram and the chest ct was normal in May. I am still having pain and itchiness in the nipple at times. No skin changes or nipple changes. I have an appointment with my oncologist on coming Thursday . Anyone having this ?

Regards

Flor

I have pain in my healthy breast. I think it’s from the initial diagnosis phase when I was concerned about a lump and the core biopsy was conducted by a nervous and unskillful physician. My scans are coming back as all clear.

I’m also on tamoxifen and side effects can cause pain in tumours. If I have micro metastases in my lymph nodes it could be the pain caused by Tamoxifen.

But I don’t really know. I have to let it go because unless something is sighted during a scan there’s no way of knowing.

I raised it with my BC surgeon this week and he skirted over it ... it was a telehealth consultation and I have to say they are underwhelming
