Breast indent
Hello I am new to this group and found myself here after having a lump back in June that I thought was a clogged milk duxt due to breastfeeding. It didn't hurt but didn't go away for a few weeks. My doctor sent me for an ultrasound and there was a 3mm mass seen at 3 o'clock. They labeled it as a Birads 4 and recommended a ultrasound led biopsy. When I went back for my next ultrasound and biopsy, the Dr said at first he couldn't find it and it had shrunk so he couldn't do the biopsy. I left there happy and no longer worried. It was recommended I come back in 4 weeks which turnes into 8 for a follow up. At my 3rd Ultrasound in the beginning of September they noted a 3mm thickening/irregularity as well as a 9mm cyst with layering debris. At all ultrasounds they noted the ducts were dilated. I was recommended to have a follow up in 6 months now. Birads 3. Ever since the beginning of august I have been getting a soft swelling on my breast at the 3 o'clock a couple inches long. I also am seeing an indent when I raise my arms .. I don't know if I should be pushing for a follow up sooner and biopsy or if I'm worrying too much I'm 35 and my cousin just 2 years ago was told she had a fibroadeneoma, which she pushed for a biopsy and was diagnosed with stage 1 triple negative cancer

Hi Valleygirl, I am new here also, awaiting my ultrasounds tomorrow. I don't really have any medical insight but if there has been any changes that make you feel uncomfortable I would definitely push to get in earlier. Trust your gut.
I hope it's nothing and you can go back to not worrying.

Hey everyone,
Im 25 years old and about a month ago I noticed a small indent under my right boob, kind of where the under boob would be I guess. I don't see it when my arms are raised it's only when my arms are down and I push down on my boob. I don't feel a lump and the rest of my breast looks normal to me. I immediately called my GP and he refused to see me because "I'm only 25" wouldn't refer me to anyone either. So I took matters into my own hands and made an apt with my gyno. A day after my anxiety was through the roof so I decided to go to the hospital and demand an ultrasound. My doctor at the hospital really didn't want to give me one because of my age but I was persistent. He did a breast exam and felt no lumps but prescribed an ultrasound for the indent only no other part of my boob. The next day a different doctor read my results and everything came back normal, he did a breast exam as well and felt no lumps but decided to refer me to the breast cancer clinic to get a full exam done to be safe. A week later I had my gyno apt, same thing he felt no lumps but referred me to have my full breast done by an ultrasound. So basically it'll be 6 weeks from noticing the indentation to getting a full ultrasound by a hospital and almost 3 months for the breast clinic appointment.
Basically has anyone on here noticed an indent when their arms were down and not up? And I'm very nervous
(also they took my blood and everything came back normal)

There are a ton of threads started about breast indents. Luckily most of those I've read are not cancer. But you can go to the "search" option and search for this. Hope everything is OK
