Widespread red "blotches"

Looking for any info on red blotches on my chest, stomach, legs and arms that I've had for over a month and has completely stumped my md and dermatologist. I'm dealing with very painful breast lymphedema and these blotches are, in my dermatologist's words, "very concerning". He performed one punch biopsy on my stomach which just showed inflammation but did another one on my breast that had the lymphedema. I'll get results this week. We have totally ruled out the usual suspects, i e. allergic reactions, soaps, etc. It doesn't itch and appears to be coming from inside my body, as the surface of the skin is normal. Question... has anyone out there experienced anything like this? My breast has been extremely sore, red and warm, but no infection. Any feedback would be helpful.

Are you taking anything like Benedryl or Xytal? Has the doc tried steroids? Have you been to see a certified, trained lymphadema therapist?

Sorry - I've had constant itching for the last 10 years and steroids are the only thing that helps.

Thank you for responding Minus Two. I've been seeing a lymphedema specialist for a while now. As for the meds, they haven't wanted to introduce anything into my system right now until they have some idea what they're dealing with. The rash isn't itchy at all, just the breast and it's not so bad that it drives me crazy or anything. My cancer was a grade 3 with an oncotype of 42. He seems concerned that it might have gotten into my lymphatic system or blood since it was an aggressive type, even though the lymph nodes tested negative. I truly don't think this has anything to do with cancer, but you can imagine it is on my mind.

Abbi - I don't take any oral meds. I just use a steroid cream called Fluocinonide. And I usually only use it once a month when I can't stand the itching anymore.
