Tender spot in nipple area

Hello everyone,

I had a double mastectomy with nipple sparing surgery. My final implants were on December 30th. The past month my left nipple has a firm spot on the top that is tender and a little achy. My Breast surgeon just did and ultrasound at my check up a couple weeks ago and said it looks like scar tissue and nothing to worry about. We will just keep an eye on it. I was low stage one and low risk of recurrence. No radiation or chemo. I am taking Tamoxifen. I don’t see my Plastic Surgeon until December. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Of course I’m going to worry until I see my other Dr.
