Removing Implants Permanently

Gals,

Has anyone removed their implants? Got mine in 2003 and seriously considering on getting them now removed. I am having a lot of zingers in my chest area (not sure yet what is causing this, but perhaps now is a good time to just remove these). I had LAT flap reconstruction as well back then.

Just looking for any feedback from those who might have removed their implants.

    hello sweetie i had 3mo chemo before and after Lmast with reconstruction at surgery have only one filling in my expander few wks after i got a high fever and chest hurt my fiance now husband rushed me to E R and they took me right in and removed it. It hardened and my body rejected it as foreign body. Since then i have worned a prothesis in my bra and in swimsuits. Love them and looks great and natural. Take care. msphil idc stage2 0/3 nodes 3mo chemo before and after Lmast then got married then 7wks rads and 5yrs on Tamoxifen. Praise God now a 26yr Survivor this yr.
