Previously radiated side really firm post DIEP.

I had radiation back in 2014. Had a TE at that time, switched out for implant and eventually lost to infection in 2015. I had bilateral DIEP (officially TRAM because they had to use a bit of muscle due to less than ideal perforators) on Aug 24th so I am just over 4 weeks post-op.
The side that had radiation is hard and high around the flap (the actual flap is soft like the other side). Is this normal? Did anyone else have this? How long did it last? It feels like my old tissue expander
