RESULTS TOMORROW

I had my core biopsy on Monday and the BS told me to call tomorrow (Thursday)for the results. The closer it gets the more anxious I feel and yet it seems the last few days have just slowly crept by. I keep thinking that after tomorrow I’ll either be making fun of myself for being so worried or i will be trying to wrap my head around the “C” word. Either way this experience will have changed me. Prayers appreciated!

Invasive Ductal Cell Carcinoma
Thank you all for your positive thoughts! Nurse just called and said I have Invasive Ductal Cell Carcinoma. That literally is all she told me. I have a follow up appointment with the BS next Thursday and I am hopeful all the pathology will be back then

So sorry for your diagnosis and you having to join the club but it's a good place to be for support. Please hang in there. The beginning is the worst. Wishing you all the best going forward.

I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. We all know what you are experiencing when you get that call. It gets better when you have a plan in place. Please update us on your appointment with the BS. The women and men here can be an enormous source of strength and comfort. Wishing you all the best.

Diana, I am so sorry you are dealing with this but know you have support. Still on my journey but I found the dark days gradually turn to light, I promise. A week is a long time to wait for more info; I found I had to let my worry kind of exhaust itself before I could put it in a "box" and focus on other things--not to say it wasn't always there. Sending virtual hugs.
