    Bestbird,

Thanks for heading this up and for posting the results. It's quite interesting. I do think that people are afraid to ask their oncologists to lower their dosages, and I think that many oncologists are reluctant to do so. I just had this conversation with my MO the other day -- she asked me to "hold on" for one more month, even though I have had a lot of fatigue on my Ibrance dose. So I think it's great that you and others are working to bring this to the attention of our physicians and to MBC patients. Hopefully it will do some good.

Quite interesting. I glanced at it and will go back when I have more time. There is a slideshow.and/or a PDF you can download.

This is great that your group is working on this! I answered the survey and although I had no dosing changes for my cancer drugs, when I was on Taxol I did ask my doctor to reduce/eliminate some of the premeds and she listened to me. We did not eliminate anything but I was given the lowest possible dose of the benadryl & the steroid in my pre meds.

Definitely something we can communicate with our doctors about and they should be informed on the topic and willing to listen to our concerns.

Thank you for your interest in the results! Here are some statistics that were especially enlightening:

86% of patients indicated that they had experienced at least one bad treatment related side effect

43% of patients with side effects had to miss at least one treatment, and 20% visited the ER/hospital

Of the patients offered a dosage reduction to alleviate their side effects, 83% reported feeling better, at least initially
