Multiple hematomas after biopsy

Hi, all-

Wondering if anyone had problems with hematomas after a breast biopsy? I had a biopsy on 8/31 and was diagnosed with PASH. Apparently they took several core samples to remove all the PASH calcifications, and a 3cm hematoma was noted on my post biopsy mammogram. I then met with a breast specialist last week, who was perplexed by all the bruising underneath my breast (the incision was at about 3:00 on the inside of my breast, and a smallish hematoma is palpable there, but there is a lot of bruising almost on the opposite side, at the bottom of my breast). She did an ultrasound and found a large fluid filled area underneath my breast, which she thinks is another large hematoma. I’m to return in a month for another ultrasound, but in the meantime I’m still in so much pain! Did anyone else have an experience like this with biopsy? I’m grateful my result was benign but wasn’t expecting all this lingeringpain!

I too had a large painful hematoma...since I was going to have a mastectomy, my surgeon was not worried about it....but it did hurt
